I just got a warning from Amazon that I have reached the maximum number of items allowed in a Wish List.
2500 items. I am mildly ashamed by that number. Mildly.
Cue a good hour and a half of culling from said list (instead of writing for NaNo, like I should be doing!). I got it down into the 1900s, though! Definitely need to be more choosy about what I add to the list going forward (and only add the first volume or two of a series).

Date: 2013-11-06 06:20 am (UTC)I ended up finding loads of duplicates. Like hardcover and softcover of multiple graphic novel series where I added every volume. And I tend to use the wishlist more like a "reminder" list, where I hear about something interesting that I'd like to check out and plop it there, only to forget and never really come back to it. Lots of those got deleted, needless to say!

Date: 2013-11-06 07:13 am (UTC)I have a main list and a "waiting for paperback" list that I put hardcovers on so I don't forget them while waiting for the paperback, and anything I'd buy if the used price went down. (though I think we've reached a point where enough people buy used that many things don't go down as much as they once did...)

Date: 2013-11-06 07:28 am (UTC)That is actually a wonderful way of working the lists! I might have to steal your secret Amazon list technique. (But don't worry, I'll never use it against you in a shonen manga tournament battle!)

Date: 2013-11-06 07:26 am (UTC)If I have any extra time at the end of NaNo, I plan on using it to finish up another smallish fic and write some flash fictions.
So it sounds like we're kind of in the same boat again - finishing things up instead of really starting anything new.
