I realized that I never posted pictures from Spring Break. We are...what? Seven weeks past that? Sometimes my brain is just so fail about remembering things it's just sad. Or maybe it just took such a bad beating from midterms which were really not pretty?
First off is the aquarium! I love aquariums, and the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco really didn't disappoint. I think perhaps the three story rainforest exhibit had something to do with it, though. Or the albino alligator, which was just all kinds of awesome.
Here's the building through some trees. You can see the living roof!

Isn't he just awesome?

Snapping turtles!

Several awesome Jellyfish exhibits.

Beautiful Philippine Coral Reef Tank

Eels are just all kinds of cool.

Yes, we pushed small children out of the way to play in the touch and feel pool. XD

African Penguins! This little boy was dancing in front of the habitat, and the penguin was swimming along the glass with him like they were playing. I almost died from the cute.

Looking sweaty in the humid rainforest.

The bottom of the Rainforest: the sunken forest.

You can see the walkways circling the globe structure that the rainforest was contained in.

Beautiful butterflies

I was so excited when we found this little tree frog!

The Living Roof. Very sustainable, or so they say. :)

These let light into the rainforest habitat.

The DeYoung Museum, hosting a King Tut exhibit this summer that I'm dying to go to.

We went up to Twin Peaks, and has this excellent view of San Francisco:

Pharmacy School buddies!

WICKED. It was so awesome. I'm really, really glad I went. :)

Whew! That was more work than I thought it would be.
Bonus pic from the wedding I was in.
