Well, last night we had our "White Coat Ceremony" where we (the students) are "coated" by our faculty advisers as future pharmacists. It was a nice event, if a little long. Oh, and we did lots of standing, which wasn't particularly enjoyable. But now I have to study hard to make sure I didn't get the white coat in vain! Midterms come around in about a week and a half (so close!).
In writing news, I just started a little Beauty and the Beast fic about Chip set around ten years after the end of the movie, putting his age around 18-20 or so. Yes, I know, it's sounds utterly cracktastic. But I've had this weird idea swirling around in my head for awhile, and I wanted to get a little of it down on paper. I'm not really sure where its going yet, but we'll see. I need to write more fics - certainly my poor Brandon/Flora Winx fic notes have been gathering dust for some time. The Dragon Flyz and AU Jewel Riders notes have been gathering dust for even longer (though I've been thinking about getting out the pics I drew for Jewel Riders, inking, coloring, and posting over in![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)

I've also been wanting to write a fic based on Patricia C. Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles (my favorite book series!) detailing what happened to some of my favorite characters who seemed to never make it beyond one book (and probably set between the Calling on Dragons and Talking to Dragons. Gah...when will I have the time to write all of this?! *pokes that yak-like muse that's usually really lazy, and wonders why it's been so active lately* Maybe my inner arty sub-conscious is attempting to reassert itself!
Also, lately I've been sneaking episodes of the Aladdin animated series when I have a few minutes to spare, and have been busy iconizing some of my favorite scenes/clothing (so fun to see the characters in all sorts of different clothing!) which I'll post over intoon_icons sometime very soon.
