The rules are that for 8 days you have to post something that made you happy that day.

(Eheh...if I forget to do one day...I'll still finish eight days in the end!)

Day 1: 12/11

Today I was happy listening to Enya's newest CD And Winter Came. Enya is one of my absolute favorite musicians, and the new holiday-themed CD doesn't disappoint!

Also, I am going to see The Princess and the Pea tonight at the local junior college, which should be fun. :)

Your result for The Attachment Style Test...

The Exile

46% Anxiety Over Abandonment and 65% Avoidance Of Intimacy

You are uncomfortable getting close to others. You want emotionally close relationships, but you find it difficult to trust others completely. You feel that people don't fully understand you, and to be honest you're not certain you fully understand yourself. You never wanted it to happen, but now you're an outcast and you're resigned to your fate. They think you're not good enough? Well, you figure, maybe that's true. You don't need them, anyway.

Fictional character with whom you might identify: Elphaba (Wicked), Smeagol/Gollum (The Lord of the Rings)

Ask me seven questions.

Not just any seven questions though. No, to keep it interesting, use the seven questions as per below - just copy and paste the following, replace the blanks with something you want to know/ask (e.g. 3. Donkeys or sandcastles and why?), anything you want, personal, silly, surreal or deep, comment away and I'll answer honestly as I can! Then post this in your own LJ and see what kind of things people want to ask you!

1. What do you think of _____________ ?

2. When did you last ____________?

3. __________ or ___________ and why?

4. What did you ______________?

5. What's your favorite ______________?

6. How would you ______________?

7. Who would you most like to ________?

Justin made billions from creating a pill that makes people be happy constantly.
... afterward, Justin walked across the desert for no reason.
'How will you be remembered in history books?' at QuizGalaxy.com

Oh pills, you own my life. Even in memes. I am almost speechless (as I usually am when memes almost mirrors real life...XD)

What Justin Means

You are fair, honest, and logical. You are a natural leader, and people respect you.
You never give up, and you will succeed... even if it takes you a hundred tries.
You are rational enough to see every part of a problem. You are great at giving other people advice.

You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.
And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life.
You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life.
You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home.
You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

In other news, it's raining like crazy around here. Tons of low corners are flooded (I even saw a submerged bus bench!). Crazy.

It's hard to believe that it's already 2008! I must say, I've been rather absent for the majority of December, though I have tried to keep up with reading everyone else's journals!

December was a busy month. It saw me finish my first semester of Pharmacy school (only seven more to go!) and pass, take an awesome trip down to Disneyland to see the awe-inspiring Christmas decorations, make a first visit to the University Symphony, visit the amazing Da Vinci Exhibit at the Metreon, and of course enjoy Christmas with family.

And now for a recap of my year... )

This was a fun survey about possible career interests found here. Just use the username: nycareers, Password: landmark. Then take their "Career Matchmaker" questions and post your top ten.

1. Costume Designer

2. Set Designer

3. Taxidermist (WTF...where did this come from?)

4. Website Designer

5. Special Effects Technician

6. Desktop Publisher

7. Animator (Dream job - if I was able to create the story too!)

8. Cartoonist / Comic Illustrator

9. Actor

10. Dental Assistant

Some others that I thought were interesting: Anthropologist (briefly thought about doing this for undergrad), Medical Illustrator (hah! I could never do that detailed of a drawing), Librarian (couldn't see myself doing that after working in a library for 4.5 years), Magician, Professor (heavily considered switching to this during undergrad, either for Classics or English), Composer (ah, wouldn't that be great?), and Acupuncturist...XD

Also, I have an interview for a Co-Chair position for the Children's Awareness Carnival (although I'm still hoping for an interview with the Drug Awareness Committee - they get to put on puppet shows!) on Thursday morning. Let's hope that goes well. I need more "school community" involvement (and something to beef up my resume and CV!).
