polychrome_penI've been in a writerly mood - especially for Dragon Flyz. So during History of Ancient Rome I started making notes about how I want to flesh out Airlandean society.
I also continued my search for Winx toys today...with success! After searching at TJ Maxx, I finally found some at Toys R Us! They had Pixie Magic Bloom, Flora, and Stella, along with their respective Magical Minis. They also had a bunch of Tecna Magical Minis, two School Blooms, a few clothes packs, and two playsets.
I chose to buy Flora because she would also put me one step closer to finishing my Magical Minis collection (now to hunt down a Musa!). Plus, she's my favorite Winx girl. ^_^ Except that the Mini Flora's wings appear to be coming apart from their peg hole in her back...in which case I'll have to do surgery with Gorilla Glue.
They also had a few Z'neth figures, but none of them had the packaged DVD, so I'm glad I bought it at K-Mart after all. Now I've really got to stop spending money - between two Dragon Flyz figures (I bought Dread Wing on ebay today), a set of Dragon Flyz books, The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick, and now Flora, I think I've spent close to $60 in two or three days...>_< Maybe it's time to start listing some stuff on ebay instead of just buying...
