The last couple of days have been busy, but pretty enjoyable. Currently, I'm simply enjoying the wonderful Christmas music on the stereo, roaring fireplace, and hot tea. I always get ridiculously sentimental during the Christmas season, and this year is no different. :)

Yesterday, some friends and I went ice-skating and had dessert in Sacramento, which was fun. However, I didn't get back until pretty late at night (close to 1:00, which is pretty late to be out for me), and therefore work was kind of miserable. I made a several careless mistakes which really embarrassed me; I need to buck up a little at work and do better. Maybe it's just because I've been so tired lately.

However, last night really was fun. I'm pretty epic fail at ice-skating (haha, like careening into the railing to stop myself kind of fail!), but the dessert place was awesome. Super good cannoli and cakes! Definitely diet-busting. Oh well, that's what New Year's Resolutions are for! XD

I excited also because my firewire cable arrived in the mail this week! This means I can finally start porting my home movies (like I said, ridiculously sentimental) over to the computer for editing.

On the reading front, I finally picked up Peter Pan in Scarlet, which has lain around dormant for probably two years unread. This is a shame, as I am totally loving it so far (possibly even more than the original novel!).

So I leave you all with my goals for this week:
1. Make it through Christmas with my crazy extended family
2. Finish my damn Winx fic already!
3. Finally go see Twilight - even if only for the lulz
4. Try to not become a blimp with all the good food around!
