I do believe in Faeries...
Mar. 14th, 2007 11:09 amI do, I do!
Not to mention mermaids, pirates, Wendy birds, and that a little pixie dust and happy thoughts can really make you fly. No, I'm not crazy. But I did watch Peter Pan.
( Off to Neverland! )
In other news, I'm on Spring Break this week, which is wonderful. I think I'll go see 300 today or tomorrow after reading several people's favorable reactions here on LJ. It looks so good, and I haven't seen a good movie (in theaters) in a long time!
Last night at Barnes and Noble I bought a nice hardcover edition of Grimm's Fairy Tales. I've been wavering on getting the really beautiful leather-bound edition that they sell, but I couldn't rationalize it to myself when there was a nice hardcover for less than half the cost. I'm slowly collecting fairy tale and mythology compilations (like the wonderful mythology book by Edith Hamilton), and this is a nice addition to that collection.
Also, I saw this fun Harry Potter quiz, and just had to do it! I'm already very excited about the HP-heavy summer approaching.
I am Xavier Harcourt Seerdagger, the mischievous youngest son of a feared wealthy pureblood family. I am short and well-proportioned, with dark blond hair worn long and loose around my shoulders and soft blue eyes, possessing a great love of practical jokes and a learning disability. I'm a third-year Ravenclaw, excelling in Herbology and barely scraping by in Care of Magical Creatures. In my spare time, I like to listen to Muggle music on my magical iPod, and when I graduate from Hogwarts, I want to be a scholar and keep learning things.
Who are you at Hogwarts?
