I am so dead right now.

This weekend was one of the busiest in recent memory. In addition to going to Graduation for the Health Sciences school (congrats to Courtney on getting her Speech Pathology degree!) - which was ridiculously hot at 102 degrees - we also drove down to Fresno for my Grandmother's 80th Birthday Party. Both were very nice events (though both were very diet-murdering as well!), and I was finally able to meet the majority of the relatives on my Dad's side of the family.

This is a hectic week coming up too.

Today (Monday) we gave the presentation of our health research poster project to a faculty member. All in all, it went well, which was a big relief considering we did the actual research last semester (so I'd forgotten lots of it!).

Tuesday and Wednesday I start working my "Early Experience Hours" at a local Longs Pharmacy. I'm excited and scared all at the same time - I've never actually worked at a community pharmacy, so it shall be a learning experience for me. Expect more updates later in the week.

On Thursday, we're going to see Phantom of the Opera, which I am INSANELY excited about. I haven't really been out much in the last many months, so it'll be wonderful to go to the theatre again after such a long time. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Phantom is one of my absolute favorites! :)

And finally, on Friday, our Drug Awareness Committee is participating in the Children's Awareness Carnival (CAC), doing about six puppet shows in a row, so I expect to be totally drained by the end of Friday (especially after getting home late from Phantom the night before!).

Also, I have been sneaking episodes of Batman Beyond, which I am thoroughly enjoying. For some reason I'm on a total animated Batman kick right now.

And since I've been rather sick for the last couple of weeks, work has stalled on my Jewel Riders fic (posted here at Fanfiction.net. But I have part of the second chapter done, and hope to finish and post it over the upcoming long weekend, which I will totally need to catch up with both sleep and work (and see Iron Man!).

Wow, sounds like your life is pretty exciting right now! I'd go see a Broadway play again if I knew I was going to be in the area on the day I order tickets for, but at this point I have no idea when I'm going back to Florida. Enjoy Phantom!

Indeed, this is a busy week!

It makes me a little sad to think you're not at Disney World right now (it probably makes you a lot more sad!). I always looked forward to your posts complete with tons of pictures. :)

It's sad also to think that you're so close to Broadway again, but can't get tickets. What about getting random same-day tickets?

Awww, thanks! I guess I need to tell them they have to hire because my LiveJournal friends will have nothing to read if they don't. :-P

Most Broadway plays (or at least the good ones) are generally sold out a few days before each performance.
