And Adventure to the Land of Sweets!
Jan. 5th, 2007 08:12 pmI must say, it was an extremely enjoyable trip. ^_^
Last Saturday (December 30th) night, a bunch of us got together and went to go see the San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker at the beautiful War Memorial Opera House. Suffice to say, I was enchanted. It was beautiful (and very fun, too!). I stand in awe of athletes who can make such powerful movements appear so graceful.
We went in on BART during the afternoon, and were going to have dinner at Max's Opera Cafe (a fabulous restaurant near the Opera House with awesome desserts), but it was incredibly crowded (try a 40 minute wait for our 10-person party). So we ended up going to a California Pizza Kitchen across the street.
( Anyway, I thought I'd share a few pictures with you all. ^_^ )
