I think you might be pleasantly surprised! It's oh so very 90s, but since lots of the plots are adapted from the comics I think it has actually held up really well. The voice acting is something really cringe-worthy, though! (Storm announcing everything she does right before she does it, Colossus having the most stereotypical Russian accent ever, etc.)
