It's been quite some time since I geeked out over toys and dolls, but I've been meaning to get some thoughts down since SDCC 2011.

Masters of the Universe Classics
Great new reveals and info at SDCC! I'm so glad that they finally got the license to make Filmation characters. Shadow Weaver as the subscription exclusive was a little hard to swallow (since I wasn't originally planning to order the sub this year), but she looks so amazing that I don't want to miss her. I'm also super excited for the Star Sisters three pack (I love stuff based on unproduced prototypes), Sorceress, and the new line of 30th Anniversary characters. New blood for this property is an exciting prospect!

Monster High
I got my hands on all of the "School's Out" line except Lagoona, plus Spectra and the Clawd/Draculaura two-pack. With the crapload of Monster High stuff coming out right now, I decided to forgo the Classroom and Dead Tired lines. I'm definitely keeping an eye out for the remaining dolls in the Dawn of the Dance line - very excited for those four!
SDCC didn't really show us much except the three concept characters of Scarah Screams, the Headless Headmistress, and the daughter of Arachne. I voted for the Headless Headmistress as being able to get one of the teachers would be awesome, but I do hope that all three get made in time.

MGAE - Bratz/Moxie
I just recently found the two new Moxie Boys, and am eagerly awaiting the Bratz Masquerade and Mic boys (including the return of Eitan!)
Moxie Teenz Gavin also looks pretty awesome, and I'll be keeping an eye out for him.

Superhero Figures
Definitely looking forward to the Young Justice toys. I saw some of them in Target today, but they're 9.99 for one 4" figure! True, they have a collect and connect piece, but still. That's kind of a ripoff. DC Universe Classics is kind of up in the air with what's going to happen due to the relaunch. I still need to pick up some of my fave JLU characters as well.
Oh, and I really hope they make more Action League. They're just too adorable.

I'm also possibly interested in the new Thundercats toys, but I need to see the series first.

Barbie
I recently picked up the new Ken Fashionistas and Computer Engineer Barbie, but other than that, things have been pretty quiet in this arena. Oh, I also have some of the newer Basics, but haven't gotten around to photographing them yet.

Gene and Friends
For about a year, Tonner's Zatanna was my only 16 inch doll.

However, recently I've been getting into Gene Marshall (I know, great timing now that the line has actually ended. It really all started when I was able to pick up the Stardust Convention Gene, Trent, and Ivy on the cheap at Integrity's website. They're still in their boxes, awaiting the hopeful arrival someday of Madra and Violet.

It's actually not too hard to find the older Ashton-Drake Genes on Ebay for a song, though, so I picked up "Sparkling Seduction" Gene, and "After Hours" Trent (because I really wanted one sans moustache). They're gorgeous, and loads of fun to photograph. Definitely planning to get a few more Ashton-Drake Gene (some of the more movie-role inspired ones).

Miscellaneous
Jumping on the bandwagon that Liv Jake is great. I had no idea Livs were so poseable! I hope they make more guys in this line.

Anyway, that's my toy rambling for now. When I get School's Out Lagoona and Abbey, I'll probably have a deboxing party for Monster High.
